Now topic: The biggest issue i see with any spell check is that of the language barriers, what if the error is done on purpose?, what if like other people i navigate a french wiki with preference set in spanish and i want to write in english to communicate or be it german if i knew some one knew german. So intead of moving it i made a new page, because it would have made a redirect page also.

Im a modest wiki editor, mostly categorizing files and articles, but no matter what every page i come across has some sort of spelling eeror :) I've been trying to embed a spell check on a wiki page but being a novice its beyond me.įor now i just edit & copy everything on the page and run it through the spell checker.Īlthough i prefer the old style editor (being someone who wiki edits in Microsoft notepad, I'm old school), it might be a better idea to add it to the new editor it might get me to use it.
